Xiaomi, a company well-known for its consumer gadgets and smartphones, unveiled the SU7, its first electric automobile.

Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of the car!

Looks and Appearances

The Xiaomi SU7 is a four-door electric sedan with a low-slung appearance that resembles the Porsche Taycan.

The vehicle has an active rear spoiler, linked LED tail lights, up to 21-inch alloy wheels, and teardrop-shaped LED headlamps.

An air drag coefficient of 0.195 is attained by the aerodynamic design.

Interior Design & Highlights

The Xiaomi SU7’s interior is simple, featuring a 16.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a three-spoke steering wheel.

Like Porsche models, the steering wheel has buttons for boost mode and autonomous driving.

A panoramic glass roof, a 56-inch heads-up display, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, powered front seats with active side support, and a 25-speaker sound system are among the additional features.

Seven airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with LiDAR technology—which provides lane maintain assist, adaptive high beam, and automated emergency braking—are among the safety features.

Internationally, Xiaomi offers the SU7 with three battery pack options:

Xiaomi SU7 Max:

Power: 673 PS

Range: 800 km (CLTC claimed range)

Drive Type: Dual motor AWD

Acceleration (0-100 kmph): 2.78 seconds

Charging

The charging times for the SU7 electric sedan are as follows:

73.6 kWh battery: 25 minutes (10-80 percent)

94.3 kWh battery: 30 minutes (10-80 percent)

101 kWh battery: 19 minutes (10-80 percent)

India’s Launch and Competitors

Xiaomi has not announced that the SU7 would be available in India.

The SU7 costs between ¥215,900 and ¥299,900 (about Rs. 24.78 lakh and Rs. 34.43 lakh) in China.

The SU7 will rival the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BYD Seal in India, providing a less expensive option to the BMW i4.
